Jan Duncan, owner and founder, draws on 27 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has been sole owner or majority partner of three firms over the past 20 years, all of which specialized in the design and implementation of financial and estate plans as well as employee/employer benefit programs. Mr. Duncan’s unique qualifications as both a small business owner and financial services industry specialist, led to the development of the multi-tiered benefit plan used by Financial Planning Solutions, Inc., which offers each client a sound, focused, individualized plan. His responsibilities include continually evaluating congressional, tax, legal, investment, insurance and business trends for opportunities that would enhance the effectiveness of each client’s plan. Kent Millard, Financial Planning Manager, brings 17 years of experience as a financial and estate planner and Registered Representative to Financial Planning Solutions, Inc. Having owned and operated his own planning firm for over a decade, Mr. Millard understands the need to reduce taxes, manage debt, guarantee investment principal while maximizing returns, and assure both asset and estate protection from creditors. Mr. Millard oversees the firms accounting, legal, and plan design professionals, to deliver individualized and thorough financial and estate plans. JC Covert, Vice President of Operations, has an extensive general business background spanning 25 years. Her career began in the field of human resource management with a northwestern Caterpillar dealership with management responsibilities for both the human resources and training departments. Ms. Covert later moved on to fulfill her entrepreneurial spirit by owning and operating two of her own businesses, one in retail and the other in corporate services. JC currently oversees all company operations, from fiscal management, systems development, departmental organization and Human Resources management providing the foundation for smooth, accurate and timely client services.
